The purpose of your role as an HVAC Service Technician
Responsibilities
•
Repair, install, maintain, and adjust equipment
•
Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
•
Perform routine preventative maintenance
•
Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
•
Ability to work some evening and weekends (On call rotation)
•
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
•
Communicate effectively with customer and office team regarding work needed or performed
What we’re looking for in you
•
Valid driver’s license
•
Driving record that meets company standards
•
3+ Years as a Service Technician in HVAC
•
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
•
Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
•
Experience making repair and replace decisions to forward to sales team
•
Advanced customer service skills
•
Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium to large tonnage commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
•
Knowledge of basic commercial building systems operations
•
Specialty knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers are a plus
