About the role
Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Raw Materials Analyst to join our team at our Sapes premises.
Responsibilities
As a Raw Materials Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting RAW materials’ quality control testing adhering to standard operating procedures and under GMPs.
Requirements
What you will do:
More particularly:
•
Participate in the decentralized Peer Review Model by performing analyses and reviewing peers’ analytical data, as appropriate to the role, where applicable and needed
•
Be responsible for laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
•
Perform biochemical and /or chemical analyses of products
•
Calibrate and maintain lab equipment
•
Participate in the preparation of summaries, and reports.
•
Review data obtained for compliance to specifications, and report abnormalities
The ideal candidate should have:
•
BSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field
•
GMP/GLP and biopharmaceuticals experience
Job-Specific Skills:
•
Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
•
Competent in laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, dissolution)
•
Strong problem solving skills
