Overview
East Penn Manufacturing is seeking a Safety Intern to support the Health and Safety team. This internship provides hands-on experience with safety audits and inspections, control of hazardous energy, and fire and emergency operations within a manufacturing environment. The Intern will work closely with safety specialists, technicians and other Health and Safety professionals while gaining valuable experience in workplace safety and safety management systems.
Responsibilities
•
Assist with safety audits and inspections
•
Conduct job hazard analysis
•
Create and update lockout / tagout (LOTO) documentation
•
Assist with data analysis and reporting
•
Collaborate with safety, industrial hygiene, medical, engineering and manufacturing personnel on project-based initiatives
•
Assist with administrative tasks and file management

Full-time undergraduate student pursuing a degree or concentration in:
