Neuropsychologist – Pediatric Behavioral Health Outpatient – Columbia
The Pediatric Behavioral Health Outpatient Programs at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center provide comprehensive mental health services for children, adolescents, and families with a wide range of behavioral, emotional, developmental, and neurocognitive needs.
Our Neuropsychology service works to ensure that specialized neuropsychological services and educational advocacy are accessible to children and families who have historically faced barriers to care. Our service includes a robust neuropsychological 2-year fellowship training program as well as additional training opportunities working with psychology interns and externs.
In partnership with New York City public schools and supported through private philanthropy, our neuropsychology team has pioneered an innovative early identification program for reading disabilities, helping children access timely evaluations, targeted interventions, and improved educational outcomes.
We are seeking a mission-driven pediatric neuropsychologist to join this interdisciplinary team. This role will focus on providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, collaborating with our educational advocacy team members, and support supervision and training across our training programs.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, trainees, and medical providers who share a commitment to clinical excellence, health equity, and community impact. This is an opportunity to combine specialized neuropsychological expertise with meaningful work that supports children and families across our community.
