About the role
As part of our Software Engineering Group, you will be working with globally distributed teams, including business representatives, business analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement solutions. As a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and development of PolicyCenter solutions that support Aviva’s core policy lifecycle. You will play a key role in our Guidewire Cloud transformation, leveraging Guidewire Cloud capabilities to deliver scalable, reliable, and customer‑centric insurance solutions.
What you’ll do
•
Build architectural diagrams / design documents.
•
Write programs, configure / package / deploy software.
•
Perform peer code reviews.
•
Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
•
Design and implement integrations with external systems.
•
Ensure standard methodologies are followed in code development, testing, and deployment.
•
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
•
Manage the technical aspects of Guidewire upgrades and patches.
•
Resolve and address complex technical issues promptly.
•
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality.
What you’ll bring
•

What you’ll get

The salary band for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
