Bowdon Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital in the heart of Bowdon, Georgia. We’re proud to be part of a close-knit community and have built our reputation around compassionate medicine, strong client relationships, and genuinely personalized care.
Our hospital provides a diverse mix of preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and boarding, with occasional livestock cases. Our experienced team is committed to giving our doctors the support, resources, and autonomy they need to practice great medicine while building lasting relationships with their clients and patients.

Practice Type: General Practice + Urgent Care

Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 15–20 appointments

Support Staff: Approximately 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio

Qualifications
•
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
•
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Georgia
•
Strong communication and client-education skills
•
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to veterinary medicine
•
Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and continued professional development
