· Extensive experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing HVAC, chiller, and industrial refrigeration systems in petrochemical and process plant environments.
· Hands-on expertise with Mechanical Refrigeration Units (MRUs), centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chillers, AHUs, package units, ventilation systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and refrigeration control systems.
· Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration, and control-related failures to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
· Analyze operating parameters including temperature, pressure, flow, superheat, subcooling, and compressor performance to identify system abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
· Perform equipment performance evaluations, condition assessments, and reliability improvements to minimize downtime and optimize energy efficiency.
· Proficient in interpreting HVAC/refrigeration schematics, P&IDs, electrical drawings, and OEM technical documentation.
· Experienced in Building Management System (BMS) and HVAC control systems, including monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting control logic**,** analyzing alarms, optimizing system operation, and integrating HVAC assets with centralized monitoring and control platforms.

Perform RCI investigations for critical and repetitive equipment failures.

Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
•
Develop and optimize preventive maintenance programs based on equipment criticality and reliability data.
•
Ensure timely completion of maintenance plans and work orders.
•
Review and optimize HVAC spare parts inventory.
•
Identify critical and insurance spare parts requirements.
•
Establish minimum and maximum inventory levels based on risk and lead times.
•
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure spare availability.
•
Support obsolescence management and spare part standardization initiatives.
•
Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and engineering standards.
•
Participate in PSSR, risk assessments, and incident investigations when required.
•
Support process safety requirements related to HVAC systems serving critical occupied buildings.
