Job Description
The DC Site Operations Specialist position is fundamental within the DCSO TAC team to ensure optimal performance and reliability of data center operations. The role exists to assist in maintaining the critical infrastructure necessary for uninterrupted data center services. Operating within predefined safety and operational protocols, the Cadet Engineer is tasked with routine checks and troubleshooting to achieve permanent objectives of system stability and efficiency.
Professional Background and Experience
● Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science).
● At least one year of experience in a technical support role within a data center or IT infrastructure environment. Experience in handling data center equipment such as PDUs, UPSs, and HVAC systems is highly advantageous.
Professional Qualifications & Training
● Certifications in data center management, such as Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or similar, are highly preferred. Training in emergency response and safety protocols specific to data centers would also be beneficial.
