Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while using technology to document security-related activity. What You’ll Do:
•
Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
•
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
•
Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
•
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
•
Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and directions while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
•
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
•
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
•
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
•
Customer service experience is preferred.
•
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
•
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
•
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
•
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
•
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
•
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
•
