What you will be doing:
•
Lead facilities and infrastructure projects typically exceeding $100K, including upgrades, installations, and lifecycle improvements to central utilities, building systems, and site infrastructure.
•
Develop project scopes, specifications, and Statements of Work (SOW) in alignment with facilities engineering standards, operational requirements, and project charters.
•
Coordinate procurement of equipment, materials, and contractor services in partnership with Purchasing and approved vendors.
•
Manage the planning, execution, installation, and commissioning of facilities systems, including central utilities, building infrastructure, and supporting site services.
•
Facilitate communication with internal stakeholders, contractors, and service providers regarding project schedules, milestones, risks, and operational impacts.
•
Identify and mitigate project risks, including schedule delays, operational conflicts, and resource constraints, implementing corrective actions where required.
•
Support continuous improvement of facilities operations and maintenance processes, applying lean principles and best practices to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
•
Investigate and troubleshoot infrastructure and facilities system issues, including utilities, building services, and site infrastructure, working with maintenance teams and subject matter experts.
•
Develop cost-effective engineering solutions for facilities upgrades, repairs, and infrastructure improvements while maintaining operational continuity.
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Facilities Maintenance, EHS, Operations, IT, and external contractors) to ensure projects meet operational, safety, and budget requirements.
•
Analyze technical and operational challenges related to facilities systems and develop structured project plans to address infrastructure needs.
•
Coordinate project activities with designers, engineers, contractors, and service providers to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with site standards.
•
Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and ethical conduct, operating in accordance with the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct and applicable regulatory requirements.
•
Support additional facilities engineering initiatives and strategic infrastructure projects as assigned.

Daily work is performed in an office and general manufacturing environments. This position has a traditional work schedule that requires five (5) eight (8) hour days during a Monday through Friday work schedule, with the eligibility of overtime as business requires.
While performing duties of this position, employees are frequently requested to work inside and occasionally required to work outside of the facility. While working outside, employees will occasionally endure hot, cold, and humid temperature conditions. The employees will frequently hear noise. Also, employees will occasionally work with hazardous material within the manufacturing work environment.
While performing physical demands of the work environments, employees will occasionally be requested to sit, climb, and maintain balance, crouch and squat. Next, employees will frequently be requested to stoop and or kneel. Finally, employees will regularly be requested to sit and walk within the work environments.
Employees will be occasionally requested to push, pull, carry, lift and or move materials within the work environment. The materials will weigh between 10-25 pounds and the employee will be occasionally requested to move materials once per week.
Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the employee must have the ability to adjust focus
