Salary: $100k-$170k (depending on experience)
About the role
The System Administrator III supports the Navy by administering, maintaining, and securing enterprise IT systems across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures system reliability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Essential Functions:
•
Administer enterprise systems including servers and virtual environments.
•
Implement system configurations, updates, and patches.
•
Troubleshoot complex system issues.
•
Support compliance with STIGs and RMF.
•
Maintain system documentation and baselines.
•
Other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Required:
•
5–7 years of experience in relevant field.
•
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•
Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
•
Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD environments.
Desired:
•
