We are looking for a Grinding Operator to join our team.
A Grinding Operator operates grinding machines to shape, smooth, and finish metal or any parts to precise specifications while ensuring quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
•
Operate Grinding Machines: Set up, adjust, and control grinding machines to grind, polish, or finish metal or any parts according to specifications ,
•
Inspect Workpieces: Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and templates to measure and ensure parts meet dimensional and surface quality standards,
•
Machine Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform basic maintenance on machines; replace worn or broken parts as needed,
•
Select and Mount Tools: Choose appropriate grinding wheels or cutting tools and attach them to machines, adjusting speed and feed rates for optimal performance ,
•
Quality Control: Monitor operations, stop machines if problems occur, and set aside defective parts,
•
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records and report any issues with machinery or processes,
•
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, and maintain a clean and safe work environment ,
