Extraordinary Projects Need Exceptional Talent
Job Description:
•
Prepare, monitor, and control project budget, costs, and projections to ensure overall project profitability and accurate financial reporting.
•
Ensure procurement of required materials and requisition of necessary equipment and labor resources to efficiently and effectively complete construction projects.
•
Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. Market and secure additional work with client; responsible for the project change management process
•
Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
•
Monitor/control construction process through direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate and identify all potential impacts to the project and implement corrective measures.
•
Ensure productivity of subcontractors, efficient use of materials & equipment, and overall schedule of the project.
•
Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities
•
Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
•
Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings
•
Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with Client
•
May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution and 10 or more years of building construction experience
•
Five (5) or more years Project Management experience managing multiple construction projects
•
