HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in the Nepean / Blue Mountains Region on a Casual basis.
About the role
You’ll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day‑to‑day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car (you’ll be paid $1.05 per km plus paid travel time).

In return for your expertise, we offer:

$32.91 to $36.50 per hour, plus paid travel time and $1.05/km reimbursement
•
No experience required with comprehensive paid training and ongoing support
•
Generous salary packaging benefits of up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment

About you
•
You’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
•
You have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
•
you have a valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
•
Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help

You’ll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
