About the role (What you’ll be doing)
Eucalyptus / Hims & Hers Canada is looking for an exceptional Google Ads expert to lead and own our search channel growth in Canada. You’ll be responsible for scaling performance across the Google ecosystem, leveraging deep expertise across all Google products — from Search to Performance Max — to drive sustainable, compliant growth in one of Canada’s fastest-growing digital health brands.

You will
•
Own the Canada Google Search growth strategy, driving measurable performance across Performance Max, Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Gmail.
•
Stay ahead of platform changes — monitoring new Google features, policy updates, and compliance nuances within healthcare advertising.
•
Lead A/B and multivariate landing page testing, turning performance data into actionable insights.
•
Partner closely with design, analytics, and engineering to improve CTR, CVR, and ROAS.
•
Analyse competitors and Canadian market trends to identify growth opportunities and develop high-performing bidding and targeting strategies.
•
Monitor and report on performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and Looker Studio, ensuring clarity and precision in results.
•
Work closely with Allocation & Performance Managers on budget allocation and with the Growth Lead to execute market-winning strategies.
•
Champion a culture of testing and optimisation, embedding experimentation into every stage of the funnel.
•
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and design teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution.
You have
•
3+ years in search or paid media, with deep hands-on experience managing Google campaigns.
•
Expert knowledge of Google Ads, including advanced campaign types and automation features (e.g. Performance Max).
•
Proven track record planning, executing, and interpreting landing page experiments.
•
Highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
•
Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharma, finance, insurance) and comfort navigating compliance frameworks is a plus.
•
Proven ability to form data-driven hypotheses, define success metrics, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
•
Experience in D2C, consumer, or subscription-based businesses — you understand how to optimise for acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
•
Strong understanding of Canadian consumer behaviour and how to localise campaigns for tone, messaging, and search intent.
•
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; able to translate performance data into actionable recommendations.
It’s a Plus If You Have
•
Familiarity with healthcare-specific search compliance (e.g., medical claims, ad copy restrictions, prescription pathways).
•
Experience scaling search in multi-market or global organisations.
•
Comfort using first-party data to optimise creative and bidding strategies.
Location
This role is open to candidates based anywhere in Canada. Our team is headquartered in Montreal, and candidates based there will work in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration. Candidates based outside of Montreal are welcome to apply and will work fully remotely.
