The Role
We are looking for an experienced Recruiting & Talent Lead to build out our in-house talent motion. You will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to recruit top-tier talent to join Pangram. Additionally, this role will manage our people operations systems, including onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully recruiting for a variety of positions in the technology industry, be ambitious, independent, and comfortable working under ambiguity. You’ll own recruiting and people ops at a fast-growing startup and define what the function becomes.
Primary Responsibilities

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent and fill open positions in a timely manner

Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
•
Establish relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
•
Conduct candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks
•
Develop job postings and manage job boards
•
Monitor recruitment performance metrics and provide regular updates to the team
•
Participate in recruitment-related events to promote the company
•
Maintain accurate records and documentation of hiring processes
•
Administer payroll, benefits, and 401(k) through our PEO; manage employee and contractor records, offboarding, and equity coordination
Ideal Candidate Profile
•
4+ years recruiting in the technology industry
•
Track record closing technical candidates in a competitive market
•
Working knowledge of US employment basics
•
Comfortable operating independently and under ambiguity
Nice to have
•
Previous experience at an early stage startup
Compensation
$150,000–$190,000 base salary + target 20% performance bonus, equity, and benefits
