About the role
MHS is seeking Psychotherapists to provide direct and indirect psychological services to students in our middle school or high school. This position has the responsibility of providing individual clinical services to a caseload of students. This requires the development of organized treatment plans, decision-making regarding students’ safety and mental health needs (level of required therapeutic intervention and completion of clinical notes and summaries of psychotherapy) and consultation.
Psychotherapists use their clinical expertise to positively impact the lives of our students through providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and consultation to help students overcome challenging life circumstances so that they can thrive. Through close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, psychotherapists play an important role in advancing student well-being, safety, and long-term success in school and in life. Psychotherapists also participate in the on-call rotation and provide emergency psychological services to students.
