Therefore, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team in Athens.
The client:
A leading generator and supplier of electricity in Greece and in other European countries.
Responsibilities
•
Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions that meet client requirements
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new cloud technologies and optimize existing infrastructure
•
Ensure the security, availability, and reliability of cloud-based systems
•
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure
•
Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization efforts
•
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in cloud engineering
•
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide technical guidance and support
Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
•
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or a similar role (at least 2 years)
•
Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
•
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
•
Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
•
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins or Git
•
Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in the cloud environment
