The Purpose of Your Role as a Human Capital + Payroll Analyst
The Human Capital + Payroll Analyst will help keep employee data, time and attendance, and weekly payroll information accurate and moving on time. Working across Human Capital, Payroll, Operations, and Accounting, you’ll manage employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, review payroll information, and help resolve issues before they impact employees.
You’ll become a go to resource for employees, leaders, unions, and project teams while building deep knowledge of Workday, Lumber, union agreements, wage requirements, and the payroll process from start to finish.

Process employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, including new hires, transfers, promotions, job changes, organizational changes, exemptions, and terminations

Review timecards, job cost, wage, union, and payroll information to prepare accurate data for weekly payroll processing
•
Research union agreements, wage rates, prevailing wage requirements, and certified payroll information to ensure payroll calculations are accurate and compliant

Respond to employee and leader questions, investigate discrepancies, and work with Human Capital, Payroll, Operations, and Accounting to resolve issues
•
Validate employee changes and payroll information in Workday and maintain accurate, complete employee records and documentation
•
Provide backup support for onboarding, payroll processing, and other Human Capital and Payroll activities as needed
This position combines data accuracy, customer service, problem solving, and knowledge of both Human Capital and payroll processes.
