Role Description:
We’re looking for a gifted Founding Account Executive to work directly with the CEO, Head of Business Operations, and founding team to help spread Closure’s impact.
•
This is not a rest-and-vest or 9-to-5—we are a growing startup delivering incredible outcomes for law enforcement agencies across the U.S. Succeeding at this role will take hunger, elbow grease, and a white-glove approach to succeed.
•
Your work here matters to how AI is adopted by public safety agencies, and the stakes are quite high. Thoughtfulness and integrity are also critical to success.
•
This role will require significant travel to conferences, customer onsites, and more.
Core Responsibilities:
•
•
Full-Cycle Sales
•
Own every stage of the cycle: outbound, discovery, demo, pilot, procurement, negotiation, and close, post-close touchpoints.
•
Co-lead pilots and POCs that convert frontline users into champions.
•
Manage CRM hygiene, deal documentation, and transparent communications.
•
Pipeline Generation
•
Generate your own pipeline through outbound, conferences, referrals, and relationships in the law enforcement community.
•
Build and maintain a trusted group of decision-makers across police departments, sheriffs’ offices, prosecutors’ offices, and federal LEOs.
•
Identify and prioritize the agencies most likely to benefit from Closure.
•
Public Sector Navigation
•
Navigate the realities of agency buying: RFPs, sole-source justifications, cooperative purchasing vehicles, grant cycles, competing priorities, and security reviews.
•
GTM Foundation
•
Help define positioning, pricing, and sales motion as the company scales.
•
Bring the voice of the customer back to product and engineering—the roadmap will be shaped by what you hear in the field.
•
Represent Closure at conferences nationwide (IACP, major chiefs and sheriffs associations, and regional conferences).
