Job Summary:
This is a flexible position caring for rodents (mice and rats), small birds, insects and other invertebrates kept in animal care facilities on campus. The position requires responsible and reliable employees to clean cages, handle animals and insects as a part of weekly cleanings, mop, sweep, keep accurate records, and note any “off” or concerning animal welfare behaviors. The animals on campus are important to the campus research community, and their welfare is of the highest concern.
