Job Summary
An Electrician is a position responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Duties may include reading blueprints, installing wiring and lighting fixtures, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may involve on-the-job training or completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
Essential Functions
• Assist a skilled electrician by supplying materials, equipment, and tools at the scene of jobs.
• Participate in stringing overhead/underground lines and cables and in installing conduit and wire.
• Participate in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring systems and other electrical or electronic equipment.
• Must have the ability to:
