Job Description
Shape the Future of Logistics Infrastructure
We are looking for a talented and entrepreneurial Project Manager to join our Project Management team and help deliver some of Japan’s most innovative and large-scale logistics developments.
This is an opportunity to work on landmark projects, including next-generation logistics hubs and large-scale mixed-use developments, from concept through completion. You will play a critical role in creating market-leading assets that support the evolving needs of customers, communities, and the broader supply chain ecosystem.
About the Team
Our Project Management team is responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of logistics facilities across Japan. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the team oversees all aspects of development, including project strategy, product planning, procurement, cost management, and execution.
With multiple projects underway at any given time and annual development investments exceeding hundreds of billions of yen, the team plays a central role in driving business growth and creating long-term value.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing logistics development projects from planning through execution, including:
•
Developing project concepts and product strategies
•
Leading the planning and delivery of logistics facilities and large-scale developments
•
Managing project economics, business plans, and value creation initiatives
•
Supporting land acquisition and development activities
•
Driving procurement strategies and vendor selection processes
•
Managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications
•
Coordinating closely with internal design, engineering, leasing, investment, and operations teams
•
Building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and development partners
Each Project Manager typically oversees several active projects simultaneously, providing broad exposure across the development lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
•
3+ years of experience in real estate development, project management, development planning, investment projects, or related fields
•
Experience managing project economics and business performance
•
Ability to evaluate opportunities and enhance project value through innovative planning and execution
•
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
•
Experience working with contractors, consultants, or large external vendor networks
•
Strong commercial mindset and ability to translate ideas into successful development projects
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience leading large-scale real estate developments
•
Experience with mixed-use developments, urban development, or placemaking initiatives
•
Exposure to logistics, industrial, infrastructure, data center, or commercial real estate projects
•
Proven track record of delivering complex development projects from concept to completion
