Title: Tool Designer - Press Tools / Stamping Dies
Key Responsibilities
•
Design and develop press tools, progressive dies, and stamping dies.
•
Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
•
Coordinate with production, tool room, and quality teams during tool development.
•
Support tool trials, troubleshooting, and design modifications.
•
Develop cost-effective and manufacturable tooling solutions.
Qualification
•
Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Tool Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
•
5+ years of experience in Press Tool / Stamping Die Design.
•
Hands-on experience in designing Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, and Sheet Metal Stamping Tools.
•
Proficiency in NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
•
Strong understanding of sheet metal forming processes, GD&T, and tooling manufacturing practices.
•
Experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design.
