NPX is seeking a Software Developer Intern to contribute to innovative nuclear industry projects. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy software solutions that improve how work is done, while gaining exposure to AI-driven applications, modern architectures, and real-world user needs.
You’ll work on a mix of software and AI-enabled solutions, helping develop features, prototype new ideas, and support the transition of tools into production. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn. This role could be a mix of AI development and full-stack development depending on your interests and experience.
Start Date: January 11, 2027
Duration: 4 month to start with potential to extend
Salary Range: $26-31/hour (depending on the academic level)
Travel Requirements: Potential travel to office 2-3 times throughout the co-op term
