Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD layouts for warehouse racking systems, shuttle systems, and related storage solutions.

Work on layout drawings based on client requirements, warehouse dimensions, product specifications, and project constraints.
•
Export drawings in different dimensions, scales, and formats as required by the Checkpoint team or clients.
•
Prepare drawing templates and standard formats for consistent professional presentation.
•
Generate and update Bill of Materials based on approved layouts and system designs.
•
Understand warehouse racking components, including but not limited to frames, beams, bracing, anchors, safety accessories, pallet supports, row spacers, guide rails, and related components.
•
Support the Checkpoint team in optimizing and organizing our current 2D AutoCAD library.
•
Help improve the structure of our drawing blocks, templates, and component libraries to make the design process faster and more standardized.
•
Potentially support the future development of a 3D library with dynamic models and organized components, allowing sales representatives and engineers to generate drawings more efficiently.
•
Coordinate with the Checkpoint team in Canada in English.
•
Join internal meetings when required to review layouts, client requirements, revisions, and project status.
•
Communicate directly with clients when needed, depending on availability, working hours, and project requirements.
•
Follow Checkpoint’s internal processes, documentation standards, and approval workflows.
•
Use Checkpoint’s ERP and project management tools, mainly Zoho, for task updates, documentation, communication, and process tracking.
Requirements
•
From 3 to 5 YOE in AutoCAD experience, especially in 2D layouts.
•
Good understanding of warehouse layouts, storage systems, and industrial drawings.
•
Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines.
•
Experience preparing drawing templates and standard blocks.
•
Experience generating or supporting BOM preparation.
•
Good English communication skills.
•
Ability to work with Canadian staff, sales teams, and project teams.
