About the Role

THE OPPORTUNITY:
•
The DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining the organization’s cloud and on‑premises infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and operational excellence. This role bridges the gap between development and operations by enabling continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and proactive system monitoring.
•
This position will work closely with cross‑functional engineering, security, and product teams to build robust CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud resources, enforce best practices, and deliver reliable platform services that support business growth. The role also includes troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, improving system performance, and driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and cloud maturity across the organization.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering
•
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP) following well‑architected frameworks.
•
Maintain hybrid cloud or on‑prem infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, network, and monitoring systems.
2) DevOps & Automation
•
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple application stacks.
•
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
•
Manage code repositories, branching strategies, and deployment automation.
•
Support application teams in release processes and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
•
Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
3) System Reliability & Performance
•
Ensure high system availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
•
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across infrastructure, network, and services.
•
Improve reliability through proactive capacity planning and optimization.
4) Security & Compliance
•
Work with security teams to apply cloud governance, identity management, and compliance standards.
•
Implement vulnerability scanning, patching, and security monitoring automation.
5) Collaboration & Support
•
Partner with software engineering, data, and product teams to design scalable deployment architectures.
•
Provide L3 technical support for complex infrastructure incidents.
•
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational guidelines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
B.A. Degree in Computer Science
Certificate/license:
Certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑900, AWS Associate, Terraform Associate, or CKA (junior level) are beneficial.
Experience:
•
At least 3-4 years of experience in Network System Administration and IT Infrastructure
•
Experience in GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux).
•
Knowledge of service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
•
Experience with serverless architectures.
•
