About the role
We are looking for a Commis Chef, Bakery to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.
In this position, you will support the bakery team in preparing and baking a variety of breads, ensuring product quality, proper storage, food safety, and compliance with brand standards and HACCP procedures.
Responsibilities
•
Demonstrate the proper and safe use of all kitchen equipment.
•
Follow established procedures for food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation.
•
Respond appropriately to guests’ needs during daily operations.
•
Prepare, produce, and bake a variety of breads, including pretzels, baguettes, multigrain breads, sourdough, and brioche, under the supervisor’s guidance.
•
Maintain adequate stock levels of prepared products and ensure proper storage and refrigeration.
•
Complete daily HACCP documentation, including temperature records.
Requirements
•
Certificate or degree in Bakery.
•
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel or bakery. Experience in an international 5-star hotel chain will be considered an advantage.

Good command of Greek and, preferably, English, both written and spoken.
•
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•
Good knowledge of hygiene practices and HACCP standards.
•
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
