The School of Nursing educates approximately 500 students enrolled across our traditional BSN, RN-BSN, MSN and DNP programs. The traditional BSN program is offered in a traditional, face-to-face learning format. In general, the RN-BSN, MSN and DNP programs are online with occasional hybrid opportunities. The graduate programs include two clinical tracks (Adult Gerontology, Adult Gerontology with Women’s Health) for the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) role as well as pathways in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Health Care Leadership specialties.
About the role
Point Loma nursing graduates are highly sought out for their unique capacity to care, active involvement, and leadership qualities. We are seeking nurse educators to join the full-time faculty in creatively responding to the learning needs of the nurse in the 21st century. This person will actively participate in the vision for the School of Nursing: “The School of Nursing at Point Loma Nazarene University embraces, as a covenant, the commitment to excellence within a dynamic Christian environment in which each one will engage in the sacred work of nursing. This sacred work involves symbolically removing one’s shoes in service of others.”
