We are looking for a field-based Service Technician in the Wimmera / Mallee region to keep Ornata-enabled machinery running.
When a machine goes down, your job is to get to site fast — with the right tools and spare parts — and get it running again. You’ll be on call to respond to our customers’ sites, and we’ll set you up with a work ute, tools, and a phone so you’re ready to go.
Once on site, you’ll run basic diagnostics using our system and tools, replace components, and install sensors. For anything more complex, you’re the eyes, ears, and hands on the ground for our engineering team, who can connect into our systems remotely and work the problem with you.
You’ll be the local face of Ornata, working on and around large machinery and our retrofit autonomy hardware. It’s a high-responsibility, safety-critical role that you’ll mostly run on your own, so we need someone reliable who takes safety seriously and works well independently. The role may also include some time at our Richmond head office for training and to support the hardware teams.
