About the role
We are looking for a talented Core Product & Process Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Corporate ogranization in Memphis, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
•
Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes that promote safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with operational requirements.
•
Apply manufacturing engineering principles to identify opportunities for improving equipment performance, process efficiency, and overall plant operations.
•
Assist in analyzing production challenges and implementing practical solutions that reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance product quality.
•
Contribute to the creation and standardization of manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and best practices to drive consistent performance.
•
Utilize continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving tools to support operational excellence and cost reduction initiatives.
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners to successfully execute manufacturing projects and process improvements.
•
Support project activities by tracking progress, assisting with implementation plans, and ensuring manufacturing objectives are achieved on schedule.
•
Continuously build expertise in Cummins manufacturing systems, processes, and technologies to contribute innovative ideas and long-term business success.
