Job Description
Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the evolution and continuous improvement of a business-critical decision support platform used in the financial domain for one of its clients at the EU Institutions in Brussels.
The platform consolidates and analyses financial data originating from enterprise financial systems to support the identification, monitoring, and assessment of financial risks associated with funding and investment activities. The solution provides advanced analytical capabilities, enabling business stakeholders to make informed decisions based on risk indicators and financial data.
Role & Responsibilities
•
Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and functional requirements related to financial operations and risk management.
•
Gather, challenge, and formalise business requirements through discussions and workshops with stakeholders.
•
Translate business concepts and financial requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.
•
Model and document business processes, data flows, and system interactions.
•
Contribute to business process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
•
Perform data analysis activities and create SQL queries to investigate, validate, and analyse business data.
•
Support the design and evolution of analytical solutions used for financial decision-making.
•
Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
•
Collaborate with developers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure business requirements are correctly implemented.

Provide functional expertise and user support for business-critical applications.
