π Key Responsibilities

Optimize Security Architecture: Maintain, configure, and upgrade our security infrastructure and monitoring systems.

Lead Technical Deployments: Coordinate with external vendors and partners to successfully deploy and integrate new security software.
β’
Support DevOps & IT Teams: Partner with devops team and system administrators to build security controls into databases, cloud, and applications.
β’
Vulnerability & Threat Management: Assess security gaps, prioritize remediation efforts based on risk, and implement hardening measures.
β’
Advance Threat Detection: Evolve our monitoring capabilities to accelerate threat detection and response times.
β’
Guidance & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and share cyber security best practices with junior team members.
β’
Research Innovation: Keep pace with the evolving threat landscape and evaluate new defensive technologies.
β Qualifications & Experience
β’
Proven Track Record: 8+ years of professional experience in IT security roles or dedicated security engineering.
β’
Tool Proficiency: Solid background managing defense systems like SIEM, WAF, XDR/EDR, Email Security, and Data Activity Monitoring (DAM). Proven experience on managing security solutions on Azure.
β’
Core Competencies: Deep understanding of data protection, identity management (IAM), and endpoint security strategies.
β’
Vendor Operations: Experience managing relationships and deliverables with technology vendors.
β’
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a track record of troubleshooting complex security incidents.

Academic Background: Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or an equivalent field (Masterβs degree is a plus).
