Job Description
This position is responsible for analyzing and overseeing complex financial aid compliance and support operations for the institution, specifically on Return to Title IV (R2T4), Pell Lifetime Eligibility Usage (LEU) processing, and federal loan support. This position acts as an institutional subject matter expert, interpreting complex state and federal regulations and developing procedures and operational processes to ensure compliance and consistent service delivery. Additionally, this role provides high-level consultation, training, and technical guidance to Enrollment Advisors and cross-functional colleagues within a One Stop environment.
Salary Range:
$26.12 - $37.91 per hour / $54,539 - $79,156 annually
Minimum Qualifications
•
Minimum of two years of experience working with financial aid administration and regulatory compliance or a combination of education and experience.
•
Experience with and knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations
•
Knowledge of business software programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access sufficient to enter data, run reports, format correspondence and presentation/training materials.
•
Ability to read, understand, and interpret institutional, state and federal policies and regulations sufficient to use in advising and updating and/or revising processes.
•
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualification
•
Experience with and knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and the Return of Title IV (R2T4), calculating/processing R2T4 returns.
•
Experience with the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities’ student data system, ISRS.
•
Knowledge of Admissions, Student Accounts, Record and Registration policies and practices.
•
Knowledge of federal financial aid computer programs and websites (including CPS, COD, NSLDS) sufficient to enter data, query reports and submit reports.

In order to be considered for this position, you must be in good standing with Minneapolis College.
Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30 pm
Telework (Yes/No)
This position may be eligible for partial telework in accordance with Minneapolis College’s telework guidelines.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable bargaining unit agreement or personnel plan.
