Schwab Asset Management manages mutual funds, ETFs, collective investment trusts, and separately managed accounts across active and indexed investment strategies. As a Fixed Income Trader focused on the APAC region, you will help deliver strong investment outcomes by executing non-USD bonds, futures, and select USD fixed income transactions while navigating evolving market conditions, trading protocols, and regional requirements.
Responsibilities
You will apply analytical thinking and sound decision making to develop execution strategies, select dealers and venues, evaluate transaction costs, and use post-trade insights to improve future outcomes. Through cross-functional collaboration with portfolio management, credit research, investment risk, ETF capital markets, trade operations, and external market participants, you will resolve complex trading issues and strengthen scalable workflows and controls. As Schwab’s non-USD capabilities grow, you will adapt coverage across global market hours and contribute expertise in fixed income market structure, technology, and emerging investment solutions.
