Process Engineer
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
•
Prepare the initial basis of design with input from the business side.
•
Conduct detail engineering, including initial layout, main plant technical specifications, preparation of tender documents, technical evaluation, and recommendations.
•
Provide engineering support and clarification during project detail engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
•
Advise the automation, electrical, and instrument team on control philosophy, AEI design specification, and provide clarification during construction and commissioning phases.
•
Perform process design, update, and conduct design calculations for new applications or equipment.
•
Supervise draughtsman on engineering drawings.
•
Participate in strategy planning and implementation with management support and approval.
•
Prepare budget and estimation of investment and operational costs.
•
Carry out other responsibilities and authorities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Requirements
Requirements:
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
•
3 to 5 years of working experience, especially in oleochemicals or related fields, is an added advantage.
•
Good communication skills.
•
Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
•
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
•
Willingness to travel overseas.
•
Self-directed and highly motivated.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
