Pay: $19.15/hr
Job Description: This position is responsible for all aspects of humanly raising and caring for the Smart Chicken® livestock.
Responsibilities
•
Read water meters
•
Pick up daily mortality
•
Check for proper equipment operations
•
Ensure birds have water and feed
•
Ensure all equipment is functional
•
Prepare houses for new chick arrival & placement of new chicks
•
Prepare houses for bird load-out and reconditioning
•
Master and practice essential farm animal husbandry
•
Outdoor duties include mowing, and grass trimming, snow removal
•
Adhere to all Animal Welfare Standards and biosecurity program regulations
•
Other duties as assigned
