Job Description
Ultra Fresh Technical Consultant
Role Context
The Ultra Fresh team is implementing RELEX SaaS as the planning platform for ultra-fresh demand forecasting and replenishment. The Technical Consultant will be part of the implementation team responsible for building, configuring, integrating, testing, and supporting the technical capabilities needed to connect METRO systems with RELEX and enable reliable business operations.
This role focuses on hands-on delivery across APIs, integrations, data flows, cloud services, deployment pipelines, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. The Technical Consultant will work closely with Product, Business, Architecture, Engineering, RELEX, Accenture, and internal platform teams to translate implementation requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
The position is expected to support the project from build and test phases through rollout, go-live, hypercare, and stable run-mode operations, ensuring that interfaces, environments, deployments, and support processes are reliable, scalable, observable, and aligned with METRO engineering standards.

Develop and consume/expose REST APIs, custom services, OData services, and Data Entities.
•
Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and application owners to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
•
Ensure adherence to development, best practices with a focus on performance, maintainability, scalability, and security.
•
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in development, test, and production environments.
•
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and release management.
•
Prepare technical documentation and communicate relevant system changes to business users and stakeholders.
•
Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to deliver and support solutions.
