About the role
Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is seeking a talented and motivated System Administrator to support Air Operations Center – Weapon System (AOC WS) testing and operations at CAOC-X, Joint Base Langley-Eustis. This position is responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of systems, servers, and networks across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments. The administrator will support formal test events, experiments, and other CAOC-X activities while maintaining secure, reliable, and available mission-critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
•
Install, load, configure, and maintain IT systems, servers, and networks.
•
Provide system administration and networking support during AOC WS formal test events, experiments, and other CAOC-X activities.
•
Handle user accounts, manage passwords, permissions, access control lists, and communication services such as email and chat.
•
Provide client system administration for CAOC-X personnel on NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
•
Support and maintain virtual environments, including servers, storage, and client devices.
•
Create monitoring reports and logs to verify the operational status of all external connections.
•
Monitor system and network performance to ensure user access and availability.
•
Implement system backups while upholding critical site security protocols.
•
Maintain current configuration-management documentation for network and system topologies.
•
Apply cybersecurity lockdowns to CAOC-X systems in accordance with JTF-GNO and SPO directives.
•
Collaborate with the 10th Intelligence Squadron (10IS) for JWICS client support.
Requirements
•
5-7 years of experience in Windows OS Administration.
•
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree may qualify with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
•
Proficient in Linux Administration.
•
Familiarity with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
•
Knowledge of Host-Based Security System (HBSS).
•
Experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS.
•
Clearance Required: Active Secret (TS/SCI preferred)
•
Security+ Certification (or higher)
