Job Description
Constance Halaveli, a luxurious resort in the Maldives, is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Restaurant Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant with a friendly and professional demeanour
•
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
•
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
•
Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service
•
Handle guest enquiries and special requests with empathy and support
•
Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
•
Assist in resolving any dining-related issues or complaints
•
Coordinate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
•
Keep up-to-date with menu changes, daily specials, and resort activities
•
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic approach
•
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
•
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
•
Basic computer literacy for managing reservations and guest information
•
Secondary school diploma or equivalent
•
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
•
Ability to work in a tropical resort environment
•
Willingness to live and work in the Maldives
•
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
