Remitly’s Order to Cash Accounting team owns the accounting for the flows that move our business — accounts receivable, customer liability, revenue, and cash. Every one of those balances is built on the Reconciliation Program, which ensures the accuracy and completeness of hundreds of millions of events annually. The Senior Accountant – OTC will lead efforts to enhance those processes and unlock value creation opportunities across the program. As an individual contributor on the OTC Accounting team, you will own the topside adjustment process — determining, supporting, and posting the manual entries required to true up the general ledger against partner statements. You will also own the revenue reasonableness workflow, rebate revenue accounting, and the recurring cost basis review, and will use Alteryx workflows for ledger reconciliation. Alongside this, you will partner with our Reconciliation Operations team, Data Engineering, and other stakeholders to drive systematic resolution, while owning the assessment and communication of the financial statement impact.
