What you will do
•
Develop software for controlling and coordinating robotic and automated manufacturing systems.
•
Integrate motors, sensors, cameras, controllers, and industrial equipment with the robotics software stack.
•
Build and test control, motion-planning, perception, or automation modules based on project requirements.
•
Debug software and hardware-integration issues on real robotic systems and CNC factory equipment.
•
Develop testing, logging, monitoring, and simulation tools to improve system reliability and performance.
What we are looking for
•
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field, graduating in 2027.
•
Strong programming ability in C++ and/or Python.
•
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, software debugging, and version control using Git.
•
Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, Linux, control systems, computer vision, simulation, or robotics hardware.
•
Hands-on experience through robotics projects, research, competitions, internships, or open-source contributions.
•
Availability for a full-time, six-month internship.
Preferred background
•
Experience developing software for robots, autonomous systems, industrial automation, or embedded devices.
•
Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, Linux, motion planning, control systems, computer vision, or simulation tools.
•
Projects involving motors, sensors, cameras, robotic arms, mobile robots, or CNC systems.
•
Participation in robotics competitions, research labs, technical clubs, or open-source projects.
•
Experience deploying and debugging software on physical hardware rather than working only in simulation.
