About the role
Ameresco is currently seeking a Fuel Yard/Boiler Operator to join our Biomass Co-Generation plant located at the Savannah River Site outside of Aiken, SC.
Responsibilities:
•
Responsible for daily operations including daily logs of fuel yard, boilers, and turbine generator.
•
Perform housekeeping duties, basic care routes and basic preventative maintenance of power plant equipment.
•
Drive a heavy equipment including, bob cat, forklift, front end loader, and Lull.
•
Operate controls of a Stacker – Reclaimer.
•
Operate power plant equipment in the field and in control room via DCS. Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, regulatory and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
•
Ensure environmental compliance in areas assigned.
•
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
