About the role
Morgan Stanley Japan is seeking a KYC professional to join our team as an Associate in the Client Onboarding and Regulatory Data Services (CORDS) operations group to support KYC refresh activities for existing Morgan Stanley clients in Japan.
This role will be based in Tokyo and responsible for managing case processing and tracking while driving system and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and control.

What you’ll do in the role:
•
Execute complex processes and assist a Team Manager in coordinating processes, risks and/or projects in leading role in the team.
•
Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and leverage detailed knowledge to propose changes in process.
•
Train others, allocate tasks and support with first line escalation where required.
•
Share expert knowledge across the team, contribute to team output and development, building relationships across the Firm.
•
Actively contribute to system and process improvement initiatives that enhance the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.
•
Develop proficiency in AI tools and apply them to day-to-day processes to drive innovation, automation, and productivity gains across the team.
What you’ll bring to the role:
