About the Opportunity
This is an open position with Mon Power, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [MP]
Starting Rate - $21.60; Top Rate - $30.34
This is a position based at the Clarksburg Service Center.
Responsibilities include:
•
Reading meters installed on customer premises, including visually checking for and reporting service diversion and meter irregularities.
•
Performing collection activities when assigned.
•
Performing single phase reconnects, disconnects and meter exchanges when assigned.
•
Performing duties in alignment with storm restoration efforts.
•
Performing other duties as assigned.
•
Use of personal 4WD or AWD vehicle required.
Qualifications:
•
High school diploma or GED.
•
Must live within 40 minutes of the reporting service center.
•
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
•
Previous meter reading experience preferred.
•
Must possess and use an all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle to read meters(eligible for mileage reimbursement).
•
Ability to safely drive and walk in all types of weather over all types of terrain.
•
Ability to successfully deal with customers.
•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•
Ability to work overtime as needed.
