SDET Engineer with Java Selenium + Playwright
Roles & responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools
Identifying and prioritizing test cases for automation
Executing automated test cases and analyzing results
Collaborating with developers and QA teams to improve test coverage and efficiency
Participating in the design and implementation of test automation strategies
Maintaining and updating automated test suites as needed
Reporting and tracking defects in bug tracking systems
Skills & Abilities Required:
• 6+ years of IT experience and 4+ years of experience in developing Automation scripts with Selenium using Java. Should have strong experience in Automation Industry Frameworks like BDD, Cucumber / POM etc.
• Ability to create/execute test plans and test cases based on user stories/requirements and identify gaps/communicate defects.
• Ability to create, execute and maintain automated test suites.
• Ensuring the test coverage, execution and timely delivery.
• Must have basic knowledge on Playwright with type script
• Experience working with SCM tools like Git/ SVN.
• Experience in Rest API automation tools like – Rest Assured/ Http Client/using Java would be an added advantage.
