About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Ruby Engineer to lead the development of Ruby-based applications and extensions. You will work as part of a global Agile team to design, build, and maintain high-quality features that deliver value to internal and external users.
You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Domain Experts, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across Ruby services and supporting components.
•
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, refinements, and retrospectives.
•
Conduct and participate in thorough code reviews while maintaining team coding standards.
•
Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
•
Collaborate with Product Owners and Domain Experts to clarify requirements, validate solutions, and refine acceptance criteria.
•
Partner with DevOps/Platform teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and operational runbooks.
•
Drive continuous improvement through refactoring, increasing test coverage, performance tuning, and technical debt reduction.
•
Support production incident triage, contribute to postmortems, and implement preventative measures.
•
Design and develop reliable backend services and APIs.
•
Contribute to the architecture and evolution of service-oriented and distributed systems.
Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Ruby.
•
