The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking professional Registered Nurses with training experience to join our team as Clinical Nurse Trainer. This position provides training to new employees regarding state and federal regulations and is responsible for developing and presenting a variety of clinical and nonclinical training programs. This vital role directly supports our mission of Helping People Live Better Lives.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide training to new employees regarding state and federal regulations and the survey process for all licensed/certified health care facilities.
•
Develop and present a variety of clinical and nonclinical training programs.
•
Develop and modify course curriculums based on implementation of new or changed regulations.
•
Accompany new employee(s) on their first facility survey.
•
Ensure computer access for federal programs and all required federal training is completed by staff.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
The training schedule is generally Monday through Thursday, 7am - 5:30pm. Following the completion of training, the work schedule is also typically Monday through Thursday, 7am - 5:30pm. This position requires occasional travel, some requiring overnight stays.
