Key Areas of Responsibilities
On-the-ground Coordination
•
Act as the primary Hong Kong-based liaison between the local TechOps team, clients, internal staff, and global Sales, Research, and Asset Management development teams.
•
Coordinate operational activities, ensuring alignment of technology deliverables with business priorities in all three domain
Operational Standards & Culture
•
Ensure all Research and Asset Management IT teams maintain TechOps standards and procedures.
•
Foster a DevOps mindset and culture across the Sales, Research, and Asset Management technology functions for greater automation, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
Container Runtime & Development Pipeline Automation:
•
Work with developers to properly onboard applications into the production environment — including research publication tools, sales enablement platforms, and asset management investment systems.
•
Coordinate deployment processes for containerized environments within Research and Asset Management IT (manage container image repositories, version control, and CI/CD pipelines).
•
Influence and coach developers to improve logging, application performance metrics, and error diagnostics to strengthen operational reliability in client-facing systems and investment platforms.
Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree or above in IT, Computer Science and any related discipline.
•
5 – 8 years experience in application support, preferably in banking /FI.
•
Database skills: Postgres, Oracle.
•

•
Experience with containerized environments (Docker).
•
