Maintenance Technician – CommonPlace

About the role
We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work, values great service and enjoys being part of a supportive team. If you’re someone who cares about quality, details, and making a real difference in residents’ everyday lives, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
•
Prepare apartment homes for new residents with high-quality make-readies.
•
Respond to service requests promptly and professionally.
•
Partner closely with your property and maintenance team to keep the community running smoothly.
•
Maintain the appearance and function of apartments, amenities, grounds, and buildings.
•
Oversee vendor work to ensure quality and timeliness.
•
Keep supplies organized, order parts as needed, and track inventory.
•
Stay compliant with OSHA standards and follow company safety policies.
•
Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
•
Assist with the bid process and training of maintenance team members.
•
Handle lock changes, snow/ice removal, and other on-site needs.
•
Be available for on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.
•
Report unusual or urgent issues to the Property Manager.
•
Other duties as assigned.
